Nature reserve near Brixham.  Beautiful place to walk , great views, historic Napoleonic forts, & a great cafe owned by our friends.  Site of international significance for wildlife conservation.   Frequent sightings of dolphins & porpoise.

The UK's biggest outdoor water park.  Open April to September.  Features everything from exciting flume & thrill rides to spectacular views whilst sun bathing or swimming in the heated pools.

Walking

 

You are spoilt for choice really.  There's the coastal path, Dartmoor national park, Berry Head, a circular walk to Cockington village & many more.  There are various walking websites listing all grades & lengths of walks.

Our closest 18 hole golf course is just three miles outside Torquay.  There's also pitch & putt available next to Torre Abbey or crazy golf for the less skilled of us.

E-Bike Hire

 

Enjoy the sights and scenery of Torquay on a stylish folding electric bike.  They are available for day or half-day hire, from WeDo Ebikes which is based in the harbour at the WeSup coffee bar.

Bowling

 

A great option on a rainy afternoon (not that it ever rains on the English Riviera!).  Our local bowling alley is just outside the town centre & walkable.

If you fancy a swim, the Riviera Leisure Centre is only five minutes away - behind Torre Abbey.  Aztec Leisure is also based on the same road offering a gym & pool.   Alternately, why not try our outdoor sea water pool at Shoalstone?
