I should probably introduce us to anyone who has no idea who the "Banner-Prices" are. Julian & I (Andy) own and run The 25 Boutique B&B in Torquay on the English Riviera. We've been here since the end of July last year and been really busy with a major refurb taking it from a ten bedroom guest house to a stylish six bedroom boutique B&B which opened in March 2015.
Julian has an IT background and I have been many things including a retail and recriutment manager, run call centres and headed customer service departments. Prior to Torquay, we spent the last seven years running an award winning country house in North Wales.
It's there that we transformed ourselves from complete novices who knew nothing to experienced hoteliers who in our time there looked after VIPS, brides, TV crews and Royalty to name a few - all separate stories that I may tell one day.
We moved to Torquay for various reasons - mainly to downsize - having ten bedrooms, two cottages, a restaurant and staff takes its toll eventually. Plus here on the English Riviera the weather is (generally) divine.
I'm sure you'll get to know us better as time goes by. Now - who are you?
